SAP S/4HANA Basis Administrator – Hybrid/Remote

About the role

Navaide is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Basis Administrator to support a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large federal government program. The role involves technical administration across development, testing and production environments in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA systems across all environments.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, kernel updates, patches, support and enhancement packages.
• Perform system refreshes, client copies, transport administration and routine Basis operations.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP application, database and infrastructure issues and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Use SAP Solution Manager and/or SAP Focused Build for monitoring, change control and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with functional, development, security, database, infrastructure and integration teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures and configuration records.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and communicate status, risks and recommendations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years SAP implementation and support experience, with at least 4 years in SAP Basis administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system administration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
