SAP IS-U Billing Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an SAP IS-U Billing Consultant under its Project Talent Model, a long-term, onsite client service delivery arrangement. The consultant works within an engagement team, supports project goals and objectives, collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and can perform independent tasks while giving technical guidance to team members. The role suits an experienced, passionate technology professional who wants to collaborate without the extensive demands of travel.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing solutions and billing configuration changes to meet new and ongoing requirements from Billing, Bill Printing, Pricing and Rate & Regulatory departments.
• Act as liaison between business users, vendors and IT to resolve systems and application needs and issues.
• Assess the impact of application or system changes on business operations and other systems.
• Anticipate business and regulatory needs and develop standards, process improvements and documentation for billing solutions.
• Promote a customer-service focus when approaching projects and troubleshooting billing systems.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members and functional or technical team representatives, escalating matters that need extra attention.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SAP IS-U Billing experience.
• Experience in utility customer service operations, SAP utility system processes, query and reporting tools, and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Able to travel about 10% on average, depending on clients and sectors served.

The stated wage range is $85,000 to $115,000, and candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
