Sanctions Compliance Manager

About the role

As the Sanctions Compliance Manager at Bosch, you will provide authoritative guidance on national sanctions programs and ensure the company’s full compliance with applicable regulations. You will be a key member of the Export Control and Sanctions team, shaping global standards and working closely with international colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage global risk management and derive governance requirements for embargoes, sanctions, SPL screening, geoblocking, and related compliance measures.
• Monitor legal developments, including notices from OFAC and other regulatory agencies, and assess their impact on Bosch’s worldwide operations.
• Support the definition of appropriate measures, set process requirements, and design the re‑export control law process landscape with a focus on U.S. regulations.
• Develop and enhance reporting systems, using results to implement further compliance requirements.
• Conduct export audits and health checks for sanctions compliance and monitor data analysis for risk indicators.
• Act as a contact person for business units, central departments, and authorities.

Required profile

• 8+ years of global sanctions compliance experience, including U.S. sanctions (OFAC) knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ years of proven ability to influence and motivate people.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Internal audit skills and a continuous learning mindset.
