About the role

The Sample Management Coordinator I supports the Consumer Products Services division by handling customer orders, weighing highly potent and controlled substances, and maintaining sample inventory. The role works with automated weighing equipment and collaborates with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate sample processing.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh and stage customer‑requested samples, including highly potent and controlled substances.
• Operate automated weighing robots for container taring and sample weighing.
• Transport samples to various onsite locations and manage sample storage.
• Transfer samples from non‑standard to approved containers and update inventory records.
• Provide status updates to internal team members and resolve sample‑related issues.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• 0–6 months of laboratory research experience in a detail‑oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple orders.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Experience handling chemical samples safely.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and SharePoint sites.
• Ability to quickly learn and use job‑specific software and automated weighing equipment.
