Salesforce Platform Product Owner

About the role

The client is looking for a Salesforce Platform Product Owner to lead the health, security and architectural evolution of its enterprise Salesforce landscape. This role treats the Salesforce platform as a product, focusing on proactive management, compliance and long‑term sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical health roadmap across all Salesforce orgs, monitoring Apex performance, integration failures and platform limits.
• Partner with Salesforce Signature Success and internal engineering squads to prioritize and resolve critical platform issues.
• Establish org‑level health KPIs and drive continuous improvement in asynchronous processing, callout latency and database efficiency.
• Lead response to Salesforce security changes, including MFA, phishing‑resistant authentication and transaction security policies.
• Maintain a controls posture aligned with SOX compliance and enterprise risk frameworks.
• Serve as liaison to Salesforce Security and internal Cybersecurity teams for incident response.
• Govern the lifecycle of platform features, ensuring timely adoption of new capabilities and retirement of deprecated ones.
• Drive architectural standards for managed/unmanaged packages, permission set design, integration patterns and Data Cloud deployments.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Platform Product Owner.
• Strong background in platform governance, security controls and compliance (e.g., SOX).
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, security and delivery teams.
