Salesforce Administrator (Pro Platform)

About the role

The Pro Platform Administrator manages and maintains the day-to-day operations of Salesforce or Anaplan within The Home Depot Pro organization. The role customizes and optimizes the platform to meet Pro business needs, works with many stakeholders, advises on process improvements and helps scale quickly while keeping a holistic view of users, configuration, workflow and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the business and cross-functional partners to define requirements and prioritize enhancements (about 20% of the role).
• Customize Salesforce or Anaplan for Pro business processes and workflows (about 70% of the role).
• Manage and maintain user accounts, profiles and roles.
• Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards or models to give actionable insights.
• Evaluate new releases and explain how changes affect departments and users.
• Develop training plans, materials and documentation, and coordinate user training sessions (about 10% of the role).

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience; 3 years preferred.
• No leadership experience required.
• Typical overnight travel under 5% of the time; mostly sits indoors in a comfortable setting.

Required skills

• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) or Anaplan Model Builder 1 certification.
• Preferred: working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Tableau.
• Preferred: SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java and Apex.
• Preferred: ability to explain complex technical ideas simply, strong written and verbal communication, and experience collaborating across functions.
