Sales Representative - Patient Handling

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Sales Representative in Omaha, Nebraska, to promote and sell its Acute Care Patient Handling products to healthcare providers. The role covers products such as bed frames, stretchers and transport chairs, and involves building customer relationships, answering inquiries, negotiating pricing and managing orders. It is a 50% travel position.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Patient Handling products to meet customers' needs.
• Become a Patient Handling expert working with surgeons, nurses and hospital administrators.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through a consultative approach and responsive service.
• Contribute to cost reduction and ensure on-time, complete and error-free shipments.
• Monitor performance, exceed sales targets and collaborate with marketing and support teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience; preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience continuing in sales or a clinical setting.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, set up and demonstrate equipment up to 50 pounds, and to stand, kneel, bend and sit for long periods.

Required skills

• Reports, budget, customer service and project management experience.
• Basic knowledge of market research, new product introduction, P&L management and field testing.
