Sales Representative – Chains – East Bay

About the role

We are a leading beer, wine and spirits company seeking a Sales Representative to grow account relationships in the East Bay. The role involves planning, selling, and communicating to achieve supplier and company objectives while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Visit accounts on a daily route, conduct surveys, ensure compliance, and present sales materials.
• Maintain product inventory, restock shelves where permitted, and educate staff on priority brands.
• Manage receivables, process credits/returns, and handle customer issues.
• Achieve sales and merchandising targets by analyzing pricing, inventory, and purchase history.
• Collect payments, support new account openings, and participate in supplier sales calls and blitzes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of sales experience, preferably in beverage or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 45‑65 lb, reach overhead, squat and bend as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.

What we offer

• Salary $50,000‑55,000 per year with eligibility for bonuses and incentives.
