Sales Engineer / Solution Architect

About the role

Trase Systems is seeking a customer‑facing Sales Engineer/Solution Architect to partner with the Sales team, translate client needs into concrete product use cases, design technical solutions, and build rapid demos that showcase what’s possible.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales on discovery calls, technical deep‑dives, and evaluations to clarify requirements and success criteria.
• Translate customer problems into product use cases, solution approaches, and scoped implementation plans.
• Explain Trase’s AI platform and agent capabilities to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build quick demo mock‑ups and proof‑of‑concepts, including lightweight cloud scripts, to validate workflows and accelerate deals.
• Own and evolve demo assets such as reusable scenarios, sample data, reference architectures, and competitive positioning.
• Write clear artifacts – requirements summaries, solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and handoff documents for delivery teams.
• Partner with Product to surface recurring needs, prioritize gaps, and propose roadmap opportunities based on customer signal.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Solution Consultant supporting customer‑facing technical sales.
• Strong technical fluency with the ability to field technical questions, explain system behavior, and reason about trade‑offs.
• Excellent communication skills to lead conversations, simplify complexity, and build trust with customers.
