About the role
The Safety & Wellness Coordinator supports the International Rescue Committee’s mission to protect and empower refugees in Arizona. Working closely with casework staff, the coordinator assesses client needs, facilitates outreach, and links individuals to community‑based resources.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with casework teams to evaluate safety and wellness needs of refugees.
- Support outreach initiatives and connect clients to local services.
- Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships to strengthen safety and wellness programs across Arizona.
- Lead the DEPTH research project: identify participants, coordinate outreach, and conduct surveys and interviews.
- Assist in the implementation of ASF and VOCA program components.
Required profile
- Experience working with casework staff or in client‑focused roles within humanitarian settings.
- Ability to assess client needs and coordinate outreach activities.
- Strong communication and partnership‑building skills.
