Safety & Security Officer

About the role

Join Marriott Vacations Worldwide and help create memorable vacation experiences while ensuring the safety and security of owners, guests, and associates. As a Safety & Security Officer you will patrol the property, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property on foot or by vehicle, using equipment such as flashlights and high‑visibility jackets.
• Administer first aid and CPR to owners, guests, or associates when needed.
• Secure meeting rooms and assist owners/guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Respond to accidents, determine if emergency aid is required, and document incidents.
• Defuse disturbances or altercations following company policies.
• Handle lost‑and‑found items, logging and returning them appropriately.
• Utilize computer systems for documentation and answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Oversee OSHA and FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property.

Required profile

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Physical ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift/carry/push/pull items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Pass background and drug screening as required by company policy.
