About the role

The Safety Coordinator leads corporate safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA, AS9100/ISO standards and company policies across Atec locations.

Key responsibilities

Complete and track machine certifications and conduct safety audits.
Inspect, train, and schedule safety equipment, CPR certification classes, and respiratory protection fit testing.
Lead safety drills, the Safety Committee, and new‑hire safety training.
Assist with workplace accident investigations and implement safety program improvements.
Ensure activities comply with Atec International Standards (AS9100/ISO) and report deviations.

Required profile

High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related experience preferred.
CPR Trainer certification preferred.
Ability to stand, walk, lift 25 lb and work in moderate noise environments.

Required skills

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
Familiarity with AS9100/ISO procedures and documentation.
Experience conducting safety audits and training programs.
