Safety Coordinator – 2nd Shift (2 PM – 10:30 PM)

About the role

The 2nd Shift Safety Coordinator supports the implementation, administration, interpretation, and enforcement of safety requirements at Bosch's Wichita plant. Working the 2 PM‑10:30 PM shift, you will ensure compliance with plant, corporate, local, state, and federal regulations while fostering a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update compliance routes and safety documentation.
• Act as shop‑floor mentor and primary HSE contact for staff.
• Prepare, deliver, and coordinate HSE training and safety alerts.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Participate in emergency response teams and conduct drills.
• Perform hazard assessments for equipment and jobs.
• Develop, revise, and implement HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits and formal reviews of new equipment or process changes.
• Interact with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• College degree related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. work authorization (indefinite).

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 safety and environmental management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
