About the role
The Institute for the Study of War is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Program Coordinator to support its Russia Team. Reporting to the team lead, the coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational assistance, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning and enabling the team’s research mission.
Key responsibilities
- Manage team scheduling, daily updates, and dynamic staffing needs, including PTO tracking and coverage.
- Oversee hiring processes for staff and interns: posting, onboarding, and off‑boarding coordination.
- Maintain and develop standard operating procedures, workflow policies, and knowledge‑management systems.
- Track tasks, deliverables, and product timelines arising from meetings and projects.
- Support information‑technology, cybersecurity education, and related policy implementation.
- Facilitate collaboration between the Russia Team, Geospatial Intelligence program, External Relations, Media, Development, Accounting, and other analytical units.
- Identify efficiencies, execute special projects, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
