Rural Health Performance and Transformation Manager

About the role

The Rural Health Performance and Transformation Manager will lead data analysis, performance reporting, and program implementation for state healthcare clients. This role bridges policy, data, and operations to drive actionable insights and support transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the use of healthcare program, provider, utilization, quality, access and performance data to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Design and support performance measurement frameworks, KPIs, dashboards and reporting tools for state and program leaders.
• Interpret federal and state program requirements (CMS, Medicaid, Medicare) and help clients operationalize them.
• Evaluate program implementation, synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of analytics, reporting and evaluation workstreams, overseeing team members.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare program implementation, policy, analytics or performance management.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, CMS initiatives or other publicly funded healthcare programs.
• Strong communication skills to convey analytical findings to executive and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
