Rotational Portfolio Implementation Associate

About the role

The Portfolio Management Group (PMG) implements portfolio decisions and acts as the contact point with trading desks, operations and sales teams. The Rotational Portfolio Implementation Associate rotates through three groups, initiating trades and monitoring portfolios while building a deep understanding of the firm's investment products and operational policies. The position is open to bachelor's degree candidates in business, finance, economics, math, computer science, engineering or liberal arts.

Key responsibilities

• Implement investment decisions for accounts to meet the intent of various strategies
• Monitor portfolio positioning, trade executions, cash management and compliance of client guidelines on a day-to-day basis
• Address client requests and manage events throughout the client lifecycle, such as cash flows, transitions and account openings and closings
• Liaise internally with Senior Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Legal/Compliance, Sales/Marketing, Trading and Investment Operations/Accounting
• Take part in project-based initiatives on trade implementation product design and process improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree candidate with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Interest in financial markets, industry regulations and portfolio management
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams
