Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms, suites and public areas at Faena New York meet the brand’s luxury standards. Working full‑time in a vibrant, art‑focused hotel, you will create immaculate, welcoming spaces that enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites and assigned public areas following established procedures.
• Restock amenities such as shampoo, lotion, cotton balls and stationery, and prepare rooms for turndown service.
• Maintain cleanliness of terraces, the main entrance and adjacent plaza, including removal of litter and debris.
• Use the Property Management System (PMS) to receive assignments and record completion.
• Adhere to safety, fire regulations and hotel emergency protocols.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests and uphold uniform and grooming standards.
• Report attendance promptly and notify supervisors of any schedule changes.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as directed by management.

• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Friendly, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Reliability in reporting to work on time and communicating schedule changes.
• Willingness to work full‑time in an onsite hotel environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a Property Management System (PMS) or similar housekeeping application.
