Room Attendant / Housekeeper

About the role

The Residence Inn Tampa Westshore/Airport is seeking a Room Attendant/Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms to the brand’s high standards and ensure a welcoming experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to established standards, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
• Change bed linens, replace towels and amenities, and restock supplies.
• Report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to management.
• Process lost‑and‑found items in accordance with hotel policy.
• Assist with house‑person and lobby duties during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lb, and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safe work practices, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
