Roadside Technician – Automotive Assistance

About the role

The Roadside Technician provides on‑site automotive assistance to customers who experience vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. Working for Global Imports BMW, you will respond quickly to service calls, perform essential roadside services, and ensure a safe and professional experience for each driver.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to roadside assistance calls promptly and courteously.
• Perform jump‑starts, tire changes, lockout services, fluid top‑offs, and battery testing.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report major concerns to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain service equipment and vehicle in clean, functional condition.
• Document all service actions accurately and follow company safety policies.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members to coordinate assistance.

Required profile

• Prior experience in automotive maintenance or roadside assistance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test and motor‑vehicle‑record screening.
