Logistics Operations Manager

About the role

The Logistics Operations Manager will lead Astral Health & Beauty’s end‑to‑end operations strategy, covering order management, inventory, logistics, distribution, quality, and third‑party logistics partnerships. The role focuses on operational excellence, scalable processes, cost efficiency, and supporting growth across direct‑to‑consumer, retail, e‑commerce, international, and B2B channels.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the 3PL provider and internal teams to develop inventory control strategies that optimise stock levels, reduce carrying costs and prevent stockouts.
• Oversee 3PL warehousing, transportation, distribution and fulfillment to ensure timely, accurate and cost‑effective delivery.
• Identify, evaluate and implement operational technologies, ERP capabilities and EDI processes to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Establish and enforce quality standards across the supply chain, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the sales order process for multiple order types (DTC, B2B, international, retail, dropship) and oversee EDI onboarding and troubleshooting.
• Drive process improvement, automation and cost‑control initiatives while monitoring KPIs and budgets.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field.
• Proven experience leading logistics or supply‑chain operations, preferably in a fast‑growing consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, track performance metrics and implement cost‑saving measures.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems and EDI processes.
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with logistics technology and supply‑chain analytics tools.
