RF Power Systems Test Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced RF Power Systems Test Engineer to lead and execute complex electrical engineering projects supporting semiconductor process equipment. You will troubleshoot RF and high‑voltage power modules, generate test reports, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve high‑value problems.

Key responsibilities

• Technically lead or execute complex electrical engineering projects, including supplier development.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of complex electrical issues in RF matchers, generators, and high‑voltage power supplies.
• Design, specify, or modify electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings.
• Generate product specifications, perform engineering analysis, and produce detailed test reports.
• Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for process power modules used in semiconductor chambers.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to drive resolution of high‑value problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or RF/HV power systems.
• Strong background in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective action methodologies.
• Experience leading project teams and managing product development life cycles.
