Retirement Plan Analyst

About the role

Working under supervision, the Retirement Plan Analyst supports Client Executives, Principals and Client Managers in the Retirement Services Division. The role covers employer-sponsored qualified and non-qualified retirement plans and builds working relationships with clients of MMA as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with retirement plan provider selection for new clients and plan transfers, including preparing account administration pricing and analyzing proposals with costs and benefits.
• Review bidding results with managers, recommend proposals, and coordinate presentation materials and announcements for enrollment.
• Maintain the CRM system (Salesforce), track plan transfers and broker of record changes, and prepare files and records for MMA.
• Work with carrier representatives to coordinate implementation, attend sales meetings, and conduct employee open enrollment meetings.
• Stay up to date with the marketplace, share information with Benefit Analysts, and uphold professional standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

• College graduate or at least three years of securities background, preferably in qualified retirement planning.
• Valid, unrestricted Series 65 license through FINRA and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong math skills, and ability to analyze, solve problems and plan.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and able to make independent judgments within guidelines.
• Valid California driver's license and dependable transportation.

• Base salary of $41,200 to $76,800, depending on experience, skills, location and certifications.
