Associate Client Manager (Business Insurance)

About the role

The Associate Client Manager provides technical support to Client Executives and to clients in maintaining Business Insurance policies, in line with the Business Insurance Procedures Manual and the Director, Client Services' procedures. The role is based in the San Diego office.

Key responsibilities

• Process paperwork for new and renewal business: applications, binders, certificates of insurance, policies, invoices, finance agreements, endorsements and audits
• Perform account reconciliation and review loss runs and claim status reports, ordering or requesting updated loss runs as needed
• Prepare the Summary of Insurance and maintain client files, filing documentation in ImageRight according to regional guidelines
• Manage tasks within ImageRight and participate in Errors & Omission audits
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or 2-5 years of industry experience showing increasing responsibility
• Good understanding of insurance terminology, the functions of an insurance broker and Business Insurance lines
• Valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors License
• Currently holding or pursuing an insurance designation, with willingness to pursue advanced designations and continuing education
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of an Insurance Associate at Marsh & McLennan

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail, logical problem solving and clear written and oral communication

• Base salary of $49,000 to $91,300, depending on experience, skills, location and certifications
