Retail Team Leader

About the role

As a Retail Team Leader at Primark you will inspire and coach a team of Sales Associates to deliver an exceptional store environment and customer experience while driving sales performance. You will own day‑to‑day operations in your allocated department and collaborate closely with store management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated section of the store, create inspiring displays and allocate daily tasks.
• Support other managers with overall store operations.
• Recruit, onboard and develop Sales Associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Oversee cash lanes and fitting‑room areas as needed.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly.
• Maintain stock file accuracy, improve in‑store availability, and control size and option ranges.
• Apply Primark pricing principles, monitor markdowns and ensure correct POS signage.

Required profile

• Excellent people skills with a strong service focus.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail team.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
