Retail Sales Expert - Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga

About the role

A new melin store is set to open in November 2026 in Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga. The Sales Expert plays a key role in launching and establishing the store from the ground up, giving every guest the highest level of attention and building a lifelong relationship with them and the brand. The position is part-time, under 29 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Engage new customers, personalize their experience and build lasting rapport
• Provide expert product knowledge of melin's lines, current fashion trends and the competition
• Deliver premium customer service and train staff on store strategies
• Restock, handle back-of-house operations, supply needs and daily store maintenance
• Keep the retail floor clean and presentable, supporting visual standards
• Reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards and discounts with manager approval
• Open and close the store and support Cashwrap and POS procedures

Required profile

• At least one year of sales and merchandising experience, preferably retail, with opening and closing duties
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds and climb ladders or stairs
• Preferred: knowledge of action sports, golf, running and training, and a passion for the outdoors
