Retail Receiving Lead

About the role

Wayfair is seeking an Ops & Visual Lead for its Outlet retail store to drive a best‑in‑class customer experience while managing inventory, visual standards, and store operations. This full‑time, onsite position combines leadership, merchandising, and logistical responsibilities in a fast‑paced home‑goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead floor management, resource allocation, and keyholder duties (opening/closing the store).
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, signage, and product adjacencies across all departments.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels, manage incoming and outgoing freight, and ensure back‑room organization.
• Support omnichannel fulfillment, including order pickup and inventory processing.
• Utilize sales analytics tools to drive profitability and store growth.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in home, furniture, or interior design.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and operational excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing, high‑volume environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS register systems and related inventory software.
