Retail Merchandiser

About the role

Reyes Beverage Group is hiring a full-time Retail Merchandiser in Torrance, California. This is a field-based position driving your own vehicle to visit grocery stores and retail beverage outlets and make sure the company's products are stocked, maintained, displayed and rotated correctly. The schedule is five days a week, including Saturday and Sunday, with two days off midweek, and start times as early as 4am to 6am, averaging 8 to 12 hours per day.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed and rotated correctly along assigned routes.
• Move product between the backroom and display floor using manual equipment such as a pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing, compliance, efficiency and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts and upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness.
• Carry out other projects or duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older, or meeting the minimum state legal age requirement.
• Reliable personal automobile with an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license; auto insurance meeting the company's minimums.
• Ability to lift, push and pull products weighing 25 to 50 pounds regularly.
• 0 to 6 months of general work experience preferred; high school diploma or general education degree preferred.
