About the role

At Wonder we bring Michelin‑starred and celebrity chef menus to life. As a Restaurant Crew Member you will prepare food, serve guests and keep the restaurant clean in a fast‑paced, energetic environment on the Upper West Side.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare menu items to Wonder standards, maintain clean and stocked stations, and follow HACCP food‑safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory scans, pack accurate portions, and verify orders before they leave the kitchen.
• Greet guests, take orders, handle payments and the Wonder app, and support meal‑kit and delivery operations.
• Participate in light local marketing activities such as distributing flyers.
• Maintain top‑tier sanitation and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including washing, restocking, and proper trash/recycling handling.
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist teammates wherever needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 months experience in a fast‑paced kitchen or customer‑facing role.
• Ability to work quickly, accurately and with strong attention to detail.
• Solid organization, clear verbal communication and ability to follow directions.
• Team‑oriented mindset with basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Must be 18 years or older, legally authorized to work in the US, able to lift 50 lb and stand for an entire shift.
• Weekend availability and willingness to obtain a Food Handler Certification if required.

What we offer

• Base pay $17.50 per hour (overnight premium $2.00/hr for shifts between 12 AM‑5 AM).
• Additional pay for Certified Team Members (+$0.50/hr) and Trainers (+$1.50/hr).
