Residence Hall Coordinator

About the role

The Residence Hall Coordinator (RHC) supports student learning and academic success while managing the day‑to‑day operations of undergraduate and graduate housing at Saint Louis University. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Assignments & Marketing, the RHC works closely with professional staff, faculty, student leaders and front‑desk teams to create an inclusive residential community.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and communicate room assignment processes for graduate and undergraduate housing.
• Facilitate room changes, mediate conflicts, and address accommodation requests.
• Serve on the contract release review committee and coordinate housing contracts.
• Oversee budget accounts for assigned facilities and manage seasonal opening, closing, and transition activities.
• Collaborate with Facilities personnel to resolve building‑related issues.
• Supervise front‑desk operations where applicable and ensure compliance with university policies.
