Research Intern – World-Action Model / VLA for Autonomous Driving

About the role
The Bosch Research and Technology Center in North America is seeking a Research Intern to work on World‑Action Models and Visual‑Language‑Action (VLA) systems for autonomous driving. You will join a multidisciplinary AI team focused on cutting‑edge research in motion planning, decision making, and scalable autonomy.
Key responsibilities
- Design and train world‑action models (autoregressive or diffusion‑based) that predict future sensor observations or latent states conditioned on ego actions.
- Integrate world models with planning modules to develop end‑to‑end or model‑based driving policies.
- Summarize research findings in high‑quality paper and/or patent submissions.
- Collaborate closely with other researchers across Bosch business units.
