Research Intern (Digital Media)

About the role

iHeartMedia, the largest audio company in America, is hiring a Research Intern for a virtual position. The intern rotates through various radio functions or focuses on one specific area such as sales, programming or events, and acts as a research apprentice on digital marketing. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through radio functions or focus on one area such as sales, programming or events
• Conduct research and analysis on brands and talent social media strategy
• Provide weekly digital reports for EVPP summaries within the radio division
• Join weekly presentations for talents, programmers and shows
• Learn job processes and requirements in the assigned function
• Serve as a research apprentice on digital marketing
• May work with other interns or departments in research or events, depending on location
• Assist in developing and broadening interest in iHeartMedia via social platforms

Required profile

• Full-time undergraduate (rising junior or senior) at a four-year college
• Minimum 3.2 GPA
• Media field of study is a plus (Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast Journalism)
• Work experience in the media field is a plus
• Interest in the media industry

Required skills

• Excellent written and spoken communication, active listening and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and organize tasks
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in social media platforms such as X, Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest

• Pay of $12.00-$15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
