About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Dermatology seeks a full‑time Research Associate 1 to support laboratory‑based research projects. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to develop scientific expertise while contributing to cutting‑edge dermatology studies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and follow research protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Collect, prepare, dissect, and evaluate specimens or tissue cultures.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine assays, tests, and statistical analysis of experimental data.
• Assist in preparing scientific reports, conference abstracts, and grant applications.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and publication of significant results.
