The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Orthopedics is seeking a full‑time Research Associate 1 to support laboratory research projects. This entry‑level role offers the opportunity to develop scientific expertise while contributing to cutting‑edge orthopaedic studies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and follow research protocols and procedures.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, including specimen preparation, dissection, and tissue culture analysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine assays, tests, and data collection.
• Analyze results, conduct statistical calculations, and document findings.
• Assist in the preparation of publications and stay current with relevant literature.
• Ensure compliance with good research practice and university policies.
