Research Assistant – Pharmaceutical Sciences

About the role

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy seeks motivated individuals for a twelve‑month, grant‑funded Research Assistant position in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The role supports faculty‑led research projects and offers the possibility of teaching experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform experiments, analyze data, and summarize results for publication under faculty supervision.
• Assist graduate students with experimental procedures.
• Maintain laboratory records and perform related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Neurosciences, Virology, Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in research coordination or laboratory work.
• Previous research experience in cell/molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, genetics, or biostatistics.
