Research Analyst 1 – Infectious Diseases Division

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine seeks a full‑time Research Analyst 1 to support the Division of Infectious Diseases. You will prepare data, conduct statistical analyses, and translate findings into clear reports for a variety of research projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze data, interpret research findings, and verify the accuracy of reports.
• Identify appropriate data sources and develop data collection instruments using RedCap, Qualtrics, and Excel.
• Prepare tabular and written reports, deliver oral presentations, and assist with surveys, accreditation, grant, and admission proposals.
• Maintain data dictionaries, coding manuals, and documentation for data management and analysis.
• Respond to data queries promptly and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data preparation, analysis, or related research work.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
