About the role
The Christian Post is seeking a dynamic, professional journalist to join its Washington, D.C. newsroom and report on news affecting the Christian community from a biblical worldview.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor news and generate story ideas.
- Write news, feature, and in‑depth articles for the online platform.
- Conduct interviews in person or remotely.
- Develop and maintain contacts with newsmakers and sources.
- Cover national events both on‑site and remotely.
Required profile
- At least three years of full‑time news or magazine writing experience, preferably digital.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Expertise with AP style.
- Agreement with The Christian Post’s statement of faith.
- Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Washington, D.C.
Required skills
- AP style proficiency.
