Remote Workforce Analyst – Tri-County Area

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Remote Workforce Analyst to support the Department of Patient Access. The analyst will create and deliver operational reports that help leadership manage daily clinical activities and improve patient access.

Key responsibilities

• Create and present reports and analytical tools for staff and leadership.
• Analyze clinical performance and utilization metrics to optimize patient access.
• Monitor over‑booking and under‑booking of provider schedules and recommend adjustments.
• Document business process improvements and support quality‑assurance checks.
• Assist the labor negotiation process by gathering data from HR systems.
• Coordinate team initiatives, projects, and provide coaching to junior analysts.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in reporting or operations analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
