Remote Prescribing NP or PA-C (1099 Contract)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a mental health care provider, is looking for contract nurse practitioners (NPs) or certified physician assistants (PA-Cs) to join its provider network. You will provide evidence-based mental health care to children (ages 0-17) and adults, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management, while Lyra handles scheduling and billing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Refer patients to therapy and coaching services alongside your care

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification (preference for a psychiatry certificate, fellowship or MD with a psychiatry concentration)
• Unrestricted state license with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• At least 2 years of practice
• Strong preference for an active DEA license
• Preference for experience with minors (ages 0-17) and with a full range of diagnoses and severity levels
• Office space available to see clients and full-time U.S. residency
