Remote Pharmacist – Data Verification & Quality Assurance

About the role

This is a fully remote, short‑term contract position for a licensed pharmacist to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of patient and prescription data within a specialty pharmacy workflow. The role supports high‑quality patient care and regulatory compliance while offering flexible shift options on an EST schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Verify incoming prescription data for completeness and accuracy, including patient demographics, prescriber details, drug information, and dosing instructions.
• Review and validate prior‑authorization documents, clinical notes, and lab results against specialty drug requirements.
• Enter data accurately, flag discrepancies, and resolve issues before medication dispensing.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, nurses, and case managers to clarify data inconsistencies or clinical concerns.
• Monitor patient profiles for compliance with REMS and other regulatory programs.
• Maintain documentation in line with company policies, payer requirements, and HIPAA/URAC/ACHC regulations.
• Assist with auditing, quality‑control initiatives, and support accreditation surveys or compliance audits.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist holding a PharmD.
• Can reside in any U.S. state except California and work the EST schedule.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a specialty pharmacy, data verification, or clinical review role.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy platforms (e.g., Therigy, CPR+) and electronic health records.
• Willingness to provide phone support for customers as needed.
