Remote Logistics Professional (Contract)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to create realistic digital workspaces for AI research labs. This fully remote contract position focuses on designing multi‑step supply‑chain tasks that simulate real‑world workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Build digital workspaces using daily Drive folders, S&OP decks, network‑design models, and inventory reports.
• Design multi‑step tasks that challenge frontier AI agents across multiple applications and files.
• Collaborate with other supply‑chain experts to ensure scenario realism.
• Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and evaluation criteria.
• Contribute to AI benchmarking that informs how labs train and evaluate AI systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years full‑time experience at a Fortune 500 retailer, manufacturer, 3PL, or large carrier.
• Background in demand/supply planning, transportation management, or warehouse operations.
• Daily use of Manhattan Associates WMS, Blue Yonder, SAP S/4HANA, and Tableau/Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and writing abilities.
• Preferred certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD.
