Remote Lawyer – Contract (AI Data Annotation)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to work remotely on a contract basis, helping to train and improve AI legal tools. You will analyze and annotate legal documents, ensuring the data used to train our models is accurate and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and annotate a wide variety of legal documents for AI training purposes.
• Validate legal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with jurisdictional standards.
• Identify nuances in legal language, drafting styles, and substantive issues across multiple specialties.
• Collaborate with a team of expert legal professionals to provide feedback and enhance data quality.
• Produce clear written explanations, rationales, and clarifications for complex legal topics.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights that guide the development of AI legal tools.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD), LLB, or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Significant, proven expertise in one or more legal domains such as corporate, intellectual property, litigation, contract, or regulatory law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and concisely.
• Track record of high‑quality legal analysis and drafting.
• Strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail.
