Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative

About the role

Join a leading healthcare services team as a Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative. You will provide comprehensive support to members, providers, and patients, ensuring they receive optimal assistance with their healthcare plans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound inquiries related to member services, Medicare, billing, and specialized product lines.
• Document all interactions accurately and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards.
• Analyze issues, coordinate service recovery, and achieve contact‑center KPIs such as first‑call resolution and member retention.
• Engage with health plans, medical groups, and facilities to gather information for issue resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of customer service or healthcare member‑interaction experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a virtual environment.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to manage time effectively while working remotely.

Required skills

• Familiarity with health‑insurance terminology (copays, deductibles, claims, authorizations).
• Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid plans and regulations.
• Proficiency using multiple systems simultaneously, including CRM, EMR/EHR, and ticketing platforms.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with ≤5% error rate.
