Remote Electrical Estimator

About the role

The client, a well‑established engineering and consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its growing team. The role involves preparing detailed construction cost estimates for infrastructure projects, supporting owner budgeting and procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical construction cost estimates from conceptual design through final construction documents.
• Review drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation to develop detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing.
• Evaluate labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and installation costs and collaborate with engineering teams to clarify scope.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of electrical estimating experience, preferably in M/E/P, infrastructure, or industrial construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction drawings, specifications, and estimating methodologies.
• Self‑motivated with a proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with estimating software (training on proprietary platform will be provided).
