Remote Controller – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a remote Controller to lead the accounting and financial reporting function for our client CFGO, a specialist in fractional finance for life‑science companies. The Controller will act as a trusted partner to the C‑suite, ensuring accurate, GAAP‑compliant statements and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full close process, prepare management reports and compare actuals to plans.
• Manage the balance sheet, including cap‑table administration, treasury, cash management and capital‑expenditure tracking.
• Maintain high‑integrity GAAP reporting, sign off on accounting policies and technical memos.
• Coordinate external audit, tax and financial reporting activities and manage relationships with service providers.
• Lead procure‑to‑pay processes and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in accounting or finance, preferably within start‑up or high‑growth environments.
• Strong judgment, analytical ability and discretion with sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with executives, clients and external partners.
• Willingness to support companies preparing for public‑market transition.
