About the role

As a Relationship Banker at Santander in Prospect Park West, you will act as a trusted advisor, building long‑lasting relationships with customers and helping them achieve their financial goals. The role combines sales, service, and advisory responsibilities within a dynamic branch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting and cross‑selling banking, lending and investment products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management and community engagement.
• Ensure an elevated customer experience by delivering personalized, seamless, and attentive service in person, over the phone and via digital channels.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self‑service options.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense.
• Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
• Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on understanding client needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for in‑person, phone and digital interactions.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to banking operations and fraud prevention.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve branch objectives.
• Initiative to prospect for new business and engage with the community.
