About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its health team serving the Benton and Bryant communities. This full‑time position provides direct respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy interventions for patients of all ages.
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care equipment.

Required profile

• Current, active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
