Registered Nurses Needed – Answer the Call to Serve Our Military Heroes!

About the role

Registered Nurses are sought as independent contractors to provide essential health services to U.S. military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program.

Key responsibilities

• Administer a range of theater‑specific vaccines (e.g., Varicella, Anthrax, Typhoid, Hep A/B, Influenza, TDAP) following protocols and handling requirements.
• Conduct pre‑vaccination assessments, educate patients on benefits and side effects, and manage allergic reactions or emergencies using emergency supplies and epi‑pens.
• Maintain accurate patient records, document vaccine administration details, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in a U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth.
• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.

Required skills

• Vaccine administration and handling.
• Knowledge of immunization guidelines and practices.
• Proficiency in patient assessment and emergency response.
