Part-Time Dental Assistant - Military Health Readiness

About the role

DOCS Health is recruiting Dental Assistants to provide dental care to military service members in mobile exam rooms and operatories, supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine and Coast Guard Reserves and the National Guard. The role is flexible and part-time, mainly on weekends with some occasional weekday needs, and is paid hourly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dental exams, treatments and X-rays for military members so they remain deployment-ready
• Capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO) and handle instrument sterilization
• Provide chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed

Required profile

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA or EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska
• CPR/BLS certification
• Eligibility for access to military bases; a background check, criminal record check and drug screening are required after a conditional offer
• Availability on weekends

Required skills

• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry
• Proficient with digital tools
• Prior military experience preferred

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $20, with biweekly pay
• Mileage reimbursement (25 miles from home, GSA rate) and per diem for each day worked
