About the role
PsyPhyCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide on‑site medical and wellness services for a federally supported residential youth program serving ages 16–24 in Hartford, CT.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging urgent and emergent medical situations and providing first aid, clinical assessments, and basic treatment.
- Monitoring students with chronic health conditions, administering medications, and assisting with examinations.
- Coordinating referrals, follow‑up care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation and records.
- Tracking laboratory results, immunizations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Delivering individual and group health education sessions and maintaining medical supply inventories.
- Providing staff training on health and wellness topics and mentoring students.
Required profile
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
- Minimum two years of nursing experience in clinical, school‑based, residential, or community health settings.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Required skills
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
