Registered Nurse – Surgical Urology (Full Time)

About the role

The Department of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery Step‑down at UHealth Tower is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to provide surgical urology care. You will deliver patient‑family centered services in a culturally competent, evidence‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess assigned patients, document nursing care, and report changes in condition.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response, physician orders, and diagnostic test results.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments while considering age and cultural factors.
• Administer medications safely, maintain accurate treatment records, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate care plans to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Support discharge planning, transition of care, and operate medical equipment safely.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Experience in surgical or urology nursing preferred.
